A set of products for New Year’s table of Russians over the past year rose by 11.8% to 4,500 rubles, reports RIA “Novosti” , citing data from Rosstat. A year ago, the agency reported , New Year’s table that the Russians will cost an average of 4019 rubles.
According to the calculations of government statisticians, the cost of New Year’s table in Moscow will be almost 5,600 rubles, and in 2013 it cost 4900 rubles. Thus, the New Year’s table Muscovite rose by 11.3%.
In St. Petersburg, a set of products for New Year’s table went up by 12.4% – from 4,030 rubles to 4,500 rubles.

In this case, for example, the cost of a set of products for cooking salad over the last year increased by 5, 9% – from 242 to 257 rubles. A set of products for herring under a fur coat went up by 7.8% – from 107 rubles to 116 rubles.
The calculation is made based on the assumption that over the New Year’s table will hold a family of four, including children.
