Entrepreneurs from Minnesota bought a controlling stake in Polaroid – BBC

Investment Marquette Companies, owned by the family of Polad from Minnesota, acquired a controlling stake Polaroid for $ 70 million, reports the Associated Press. Businessmen received at the disposal of a 65% stake.

The deal was concluded in the Monday, December 22.

The world-renowned manufacturer of instant cameras went bankrupt in 2008, but Polaroid patents used by many firms and companies continues to receive payments.
