The total debt of Greece to the IMF reached € 2 billion – a REGNUM

Athens, 14 July 2015, 08:04 – REGNUM Greece overstayed the next payment to the International Monetary Fund (IMF) in the amount of € 456 million. The request from the Greek government for an extension of the maturity of the debt on June 30, is expected to be discussed by the Board of Directors of the IMF in the coming weeks.

According to the calculations IMF, Athens must pass more than € 52 billion of assistance within 3 years of the country to be able to service its foreign debt.
