The European Commission called the plan of Greece relevant proposals creditors – RBC

In the negotiations of Greece and international creditors clear progress has occurred since the economic plan of Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras meets their guidelines. This was stated by vice-president of the European Commission on the euro Valdis Dombrovskis, the newspaper Naftemporiki.

He stressed that the Greek government aims to reach an agreement. However, according to Dombrovkisa remain unresolved issues. On Saturday, the creditors will discuss its assessment of the proposals of the Greek side, then to start negotiations on a new program of assistance to the country, he added.

On the eve of the Greek parliament supported the proposals submitted by the government of Alexis Tsipras creditors. Greece sent its proposals Eurogroup on economic reforms July 9.

According to the newspaper, the plan involves increasing the income tax from 26% to 28% and VAT on luxury goods from 10% to 13%. From 13% to 23% could increase VAT on processed food, services, restaurants, transportation, and of the health services offered by the private sector. Greece also proposed to raise the VAT on hotel stays from 6.5% to 13%.
