Despite the nightly protests in Athens, during which the police had to use tear gas, the country’s parliament approved the program of reforms, to carry out which the Greeks demanded international lenders. On Thursday night the Greek parliament voted for “urgent measures to negotiate and conclude an agreement with the European support mechanism (ESM)”. However, he mentioned that he would support unless “temporary” use of EFSM for the Greeks, as on Thursday and agreed Babishov colleagues. In turn, the Czech Prime Minister Bohuslav Sobotka reiterated that his country refuses to guarantee credible European loan to Greece and do not give their part to Athens no direct loans.
This is the first revolt against the policy to continue lending to Greece. Surely there will be new ones.
