MOSCOW, March 28 – RIA Novosti Economic Development Minister Alexei Ulyukayev said that in a meeting with US Ambassador to Russia John Tefft touched sanctions topic, and the parties are set for an early lifting of these restrictions “the topic of sanctions raised, our general impression, understanding that of course, is the ultimate story, and we would like it to end as soon as possible”, – said Ulyukayev reporters after a meeting with the US ambassador.
He said that American colleagues associate sanctions with the implementation of the Minsk agreements. “We fully support this approach, but note that this is a problem that does not have one-sided approach, but only a multilateral, and invite everyone to participate with us in addressing this problem”, – the minister added.
In its turn, Tefft said earlier that the sides discussed bilateral economic issues and the situation in the Russian economy as a whole.
The meeting was held in Moscow in the Ministry of economic Development a few days after his visit to Moscow, US Secretary of State John Kerry and his talks with the Russian leadership . Talk Tefft Ulyukayev and lasted about 45 minutes. The consultations on the American side participated the trade representative of the US Embassy Keith Kirkham.
