The US State Department sent a request for citizenship of the dead teenagers – RIA Novosti

WASHINGTON, February 28 – RIA Novosti, Dmitry Zlodorev Power. County Mason (Washington) asked the US state Department about whether the dead in Belfeyre 16-year-old Quinn and 18-year-old Tori Carlson originally from Kazakhstan, said on Saturday, RIA Novosti deputy local sheriff Ryan Sperling.

“We have sent a request to the State Department, but has not yet received a response … the request has been sent to verify whether these children are adopted in Kazakhstan”, – he said

When asked whether this means that the authorities are now exclude the version that the children could be adopted from Russia, Sperling replied in the negative. “No, I can not do that I have information from family members that they were adopted in Kazakhstan, but we have not been able to verify this..” – He said.

The US State Department on request RIA Novosti has not yet responded.

Washington state authorities are investigating the deaths of five people, including two teenagers, who, according to media reports and the preliminary information of the local authorities, may be adopted in Russia, as well as their mothers. According to another, also unconfirmed reports, the dead children may have come from Kazakhstan. County Sheriff told Russian officials that rely on reading the surviving girls, to establish the nationality of the victims.
