 The government has not supported a bill to ban the sale of goods that are prohibited from being imported into the territory of Russia. As the “Izvestia” writes, it follows from the official government comment on the amendments to the law on trade proposed by the State Duma deputies.

 The Government considered that the law on trade should not regulate the foreign trade relations.

 The Cabinet added that the sanctions products and so destroyed in accordance with the presidential decree of 29 July 2015, that is, the proposed ban on the sale would violate the presumption of sanctions being consumed products.

 The bill on the prohibition of trade in products of sanctions was submitted to the Duma in August 2015 Karginova deputies Sergei, Ivan Sukharev and Kirill Cherkasov (LDPR). According to the authors of the initiative, the government is unfair negative feedback, and due to a strong lobby retailers.
