Minsk announced a loss of $ 900 million in the Russian market – RBC

Belarus going to diversify their exports, so as not to rely solely on the Russian market, which for the first two months of 2015 the republic has lost about $ 900 million. This was announced on the air “Belarus 1″ Prime Minister Andrei Kobyakov, reports Tut.by.

According to Kobyakov, the government set a target to reach the level of exports to $ 5 billion in China, India, Indonesia, North Africa and Latin America. Oh added that the government has identified 56 promising markets for Belarusian products. According to the chairman of the government of the republic two months in 2015, Belarus has sent these 56 markets products for $ 107 million, which more than last year the volume of deliveries.

Kobyakov promised that the government and the National Bank will pursue a tough monetary credit policy. According to him, this will lead to a predictable rate of the national currency and inflation parameters acceptable.

Earlier, the head of the Belarusian government called shift from Russian to other export markets at a meeting of the Council of Ministers. According to him, during the first two months of 2015 the volume of Belarusian exports of goods and services decreased by 22.7% compared to the same period last year. Premier believes that working with the Russian market has become more difficult because of the uncertain economic situation and efforts to protect domestic producers in the Russian Federation.
