Lavrov: Russia intends to send to the Donbas second convoy – Rosbalt.RU

MOSCOW, August 25th. Moscow Kiev notified of the intention to send another convoy with humanitarian aid in the coming days, said Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.

“We sent an official note yesterday, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry informing about our intentions to prepare the next convoy carrying humanitarian supplies , made a detailed list of the range and quantity of those goods, which are scheduled to be sent, expressed hope for honest cooperation with the Ukrainian authorities to align all the necessary formalities, “- Lavrov said at a press briefing.

” We hope that the time that it would take, given the already existing experience, will not be so long as it was the case with the first convoy, “- said the diplomat.

He stressed that the new aid convoy has to go the same route and the same parameters as the previous one. In this case, the arrangement of his movement, according to Lavrov, can be reached as early as this week.

Today in Lugansk, where they brought 69 sets of plants, 400 tons of various types of cereals , 340 tons of canned meat, 30 tons of salt, 100 tons of sugar, 60 tons of canned milk, 0.8 tons of tea, 679.5 tons of bottled water, 62.4 tons of baby food, 54 tons of “medical property” and 12 thousand. 300 sleeping bags, began distributing humanitarian aid.
