 The transport passage through the Kerch Strait will consist of two parallel bridges – car with four-lane and two-track railway. One part of the transition linking the Taman Peninsula to the island of Tuzla, the second will connect the island of Tuzla to Kerch. The total length of the transition from the Krasnodar Territory in the Crimea will be 19 km. The bridge is planned to be commissioned in 2019. According to the project, by 2040 passenger traffic across the Kerch bridge will be about 17 million people, cargo – about 26 million tons

 Glavgosexpertiza gave a positive opinion on a bridge project in the Crimea and confirmed the accuracy of the estimated cost. The estimated cost of the bridge in the prices of the IV quarter of 2015 amounted to about 212 billion rubles.
