The new EU sanctions against Russia will be valid until the end of July 2015. This was reported by RIA “Novosti» with reference to the official EU.
«This is an amendment to the measures taken by the end of July, which operate throughout the year. Therefore, the decision of the Board will be reviewed at the latest, at the end of July next year, “- said the representative of the EU.
It is noted that the sanctions will be in force until 31 July, and a decision on their extension should be taken by the European Council unanimously.
Earlier, EU Ambassador to Russia Vygaudas Usackas said , that sanctions against Russia are introduced in anticipation of more effective steps to de-escalate the conflict in Ukraine.
