At a meeting on the development of the military-industrial complex, President Vladimir Putin have representatives of the defense industry to the need to not only ensure prompt replacement of components that are imported from abroad, but also to create their superior specimens.
– The task is not simply to replace imported products, although it is certainly important, but the main thing – we provide high quality new development. Products must be in terms of quality and price better than the foreign manufacturers and domestic enterprises have to get new competencies and technologies, including dual-use. Much of what we were getting on imports, has long been obsolete. We have an objective opportunity to advancing step – said the head of state.
So, after a sharp deterioration in relations with Ukraine there is a problem with the supply of engines from the company “Motor Sich”. The engines will be built already in Russian factories.
The president noted that the program of the defense order in 2014 successfully implemented.
– According to some accounts, which still has already taken organizational, technological, technical solutions, – said Vladimir Putin.
According to the President, for the next ten years, a certain type of military and special equipment.
– This will reduce the cost of service and maintenance of the same type of weapons and optimize the cost of training – the president said.
In particular, for the Army created a single tracked armored bay, on the basis of which will create a very different technique – from tanks and infantry fighting vehicles to vehicles intelligence and defense installations.
The President recalled that for retrofitting military factories allocated 3 trillion rubles.
– All this money should be spent as efficiently as possible. Need to reduce costs, optimize the production process, to ensure accurate coordination of subcontractors on the timing and volume of deliveries to DIC accumulating unfinished objects that are not available to the troops, but only require additional content service. And that defense companies are not faced with macroeconomic issues, including inflation processes – concluded Vladimir Putin.
