“Rusal” increased EBITDA under IFRS by 33% in 2015, slightly below forecast – RIA Novosti

MOSCOW, March 9 -. RIA Novosti OK “Rusal” on results of 2015 has increased the EBITDA under IFRS 33.1% as compared with 2014, to 2,015 billion dollars, follows from Posts companies.

The result was slightly below the consensus forecast compiled by RIA Novosti according to the survey of analysts who had expected EBITDA of 2.024 billion dollars. Revenues decreased by 7.2% – up to 8.680 billion, which was slightly above expectations of analysts had forecast at 8.649 billion dollars

Net profit of “Rusal” in the reporting period amounted to 558 million dollars against 91 million. dollar loss a year earlier, adjusted net profit amounted to 671 million dollars (in 2014 – $ 17 million), normalized net profit rose by almost 2.3 times to 1.097 billion dollars from 486 million dollars at the end of the previous year
