Food prices in Russia grew in June by more than 6% – Rosbalt.RU


 Prices for food products in Russia increased by 0.1% in June 2016 to the previous month and rose by 6.2% year on year. Such data today leads the Federal State Statistics Service.

 As Rosstat clarifies food prices, excluding vegetable and fruit prices rose in June by 0,3%.

 The Office notes that in the last month among the observed species of cereals and pulses has risen most notably buckwheat-Unground – on 5,6%

 In the group of fish prices for chilled and frozen cleaned fish of salmon increased by 1.4%, for various kinds of salted, marinated, smoked fish and canned fish – by 0,8-1,1%

 From the observed types of confectionery prices caramel increased by 1.4%, chocolate – by 1.1%, soft coated chocolate sweets – 1%

 In June, there was a decrease in prices for certain types of fruits and vegetables. However, potato prices rose by 30.1%, table beet – 18.3%, carrots – by 6.7%, onion – by 5.2%, garlic – on 2,1%

 Among other observable types of foodstuffs prices for fruit juices rose by 1.9%, soda, coffee, ice cream, national cheeses and cheese, ketchup, mayonnaise, black pepper (peas) – by 0.9-1.4% <. / p>

 Overall, inflation in Russia in June 2016 was 0.4% compared with the previous month, when it was fixed at the same level. Since the beginning of this year, consumer prices in the country rose by 3.3% (to December 2015). In annual terms, inflation in the country amounted to 7.5% in June, after 7.3% in May, April and March, 8.1% in February and 9.8% in January this year.

 At the end of 2015 inflation was 12.9% in Russia, while consumer prices increased by 11.4% in 2014.
