the head of the Bank of Russia Elvira Nabiullina at a meeting of representatives of the Association of banks “Russia” reported that in 2016 in Russia, the volume of dubious operations on transferring funds abroad decreased by 2,5 times (up to 190 billion rubles), according to Interfax.
She stressed that for several years there has been a downward trend similar dubious operations.
Nabiullina said that in 2015 was displayed abroad 500 billion rubles, and in 2016 the volume of output, according to preliminary estimates, dropped to 190 billion rubles.
Earlier Elvira Nabiullina said that the regulator was working to create opportunities to send law enforcement the data containing Bank secrecy, to investigate the withdrawal of assets from banks.
